Every plan of care is set by a licensed physical therapist and carried out by licensed physical therapist assistants under that plan — the structure Texas law requires, and the one that keeps the same people on your case from first visit to discharge.

Cassie Fry founded Direct PT out of a calling to better serve the Huntsville community she has loved for more than 25 years. A licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2007, she brings more than two decades of experience in physical therapy.

Her passion is helping people move better and regain confidence in their bodies through safe, effective care. Specializing in manual therapy for soft tissue and joint mobility, Cassie combines skill, empathy, and clear communication to guide patients toward lasting improvement.

She values creating a “Fitness Family” where everyone can grow stronger together.

Dr. Sean Chen is a licensed physical therapist with more than ten years of experience in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. He has practiced in outpatient and home health settings across Orlando, Florida, and Houston, Texas, and previously served at Tzu Chi General Hospital.

Dr. Chen uses advanced techniques including visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and movement-based rehabilitation. He is certified in the McKenzie Method and trained in Kinetic Control to provide precise, personalized care.

Antony “Tony” Delclos earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Sam Houston State University, then became licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant through the PTA program at Lone Star College in Montgomery.

He is excited to work with patients toward their rehabilitation goals in an efficient, caring, and fun manner.

Outside the clinic: gaming, eating out with friends and family, and travelling.

The physical therapist evaluates

Dr. Sean Chen, PT, DPT performs your evaluation, sets the plan of care, and reviews your progress. PT, DPT means a Doctor of Physical Therapy — the licence that permits evaluation and diagnosis in Texas.

Physical therapist assistants treat

Cassie Fry, PTA, and Tony Delclos, PTA, deliver the hands-on treatment, coaching, and exercise progression under that plan. PTA is a state licence in its own right, with its own exam and continuing education.

The front desk runs the rest

She keeps therapists and students on task, manages front desk operations, coordinates insurance needs, and monitors patient progress so that no one is ever overlooked.

Physical therapy evaluations and plans of care are provided by Dr. Sean Chen, PT, DPT. Physical therapist assistants provide treatment under that plan of care. Support staff do not provide treatment. More about how we work.
